New 2024 classes for Teen Flower Camp offers advanced training in floral design & creating unique garden items, forest artistry, hanging floral arrangements, and baking with real flowers, advanced art with pressed flowers, sandy pond creations and outdoor adventures.
The week begins with putting our Teens in touch with God’s glorious nature. They see, hear, feel and taste the wonders of flowers and gardening in the great outdoors
Your teen will be in flower heaven for a week as they walk through the gardens, picking gorgeous fragrant flowers and putting them in a basket to make elaborate floral arrangements.
Our faith-based flower camp begins with each one sharing their favorite worship songs karaoke style and scriptures from the Bible.
We worship God when we love and enjoy what He has given us. The fragrance and beauty of His flowers bring much joy!
TEENS learn the secrets of floral arranging, making gorgeous bouquets while developing the joy of creating “something beautiful”.
Teens will craft a gorgeous wreaths. Imaginations expand as they incorporate recycled items into their designs. We teach painting and color washing techniques to make an all over design look unique.
They will have daily “hands-on- experience” in repurposing containers and painting a gorgeous redo for an upscale look.
TEENS bring their lunch bag for picnics by the pond, under the trees, on the porch or a choice of their favorite place on our 43 acres.
They will get to know each other doing a beautiful collaborative mix media of florals. Our center focus will be their choice of a favorite flower.
Teens practice “free flow design time” to release the joy and genius of their own creativity by making something beautiful of their own design. This increases their confidence and ability to “free flow” creatively.
The best part is doing teen camp with friends or making new friends.
Most of all they will have a full week of fun creating something beautiful every day. Confidence grows as joy increases.
To finish our week we will have water balloon activities the last day so bring a swim suit or change of clothes.
On the last day teens choose what they will teach their parents and guests in the studio setting about what they have learned. They love presenting and it brings them joy! We see increase in their confidence and pride in their work.
Parents will receive an email with permission slips to sign and all the information that is needed. Campers will sign a Camper Agreement regarding the rules for camp.
