‘Show and Tell’ for parents the last day
43 acres of outdoor explorations!
5 days of your camper being in touch with God’s glorious nature on our 43 acres. They see, hear, feel and taste the wonders of flowers, gardening and great exploration.
The WOW factor is high for kids as they design and create their own projects
· Your child will be in flower heaven for a week as they walk through the gardens, picking gorgeous fragrant flowers and putting them in a basket to make elaborate floral arrangements.
· Our faith-based flower camp begins with kids sharing their favorite worship songs karaoke style and scriptures from the Bible.
· In our wonderful design studio they learn the secrets of floral arranging, making gorgeous bouquets and the joy of creating “something beautiful”.
· Campers will get a green thumb cultivating loam soil, transplanting flowers and making a flower box.
· Kids have daily “hands-on- experience” in repurposing containers, painting a gorgeous redo and doing sweet miniature artificial floral arrangements.
Our pet is perfect for kids because “Scamper is a hampster! They will design and build a habitat for him.
· Campers bring their lunch bag for picnics by the pond, under the trees, on the porch or a choice of their favorite place on our 43 acres.
· Kids practice “free flow design time” to release the joy and genius of their own creativity by making something beautiful of their own design. This increases their confidence and ability to “free flow” creatively.
· On the last day children chose what they will teach their parents and guests in the studio setting what they have learned about florals, gardens and collaboration. They love this part!
The joy of presenting to you brings such an increase in their confidence and a pride in their work.
Parents will receive an email with permission slips to sign and all the information that is needed. Campers will sign a Camper Agreement regarding the rules for camp.
