New exciting projects for kids and favorites
Kids have enthusiastically named our camps “the best ever,” while parents affectionately describe it as “magical.”
For 5 delightful days, you have the opportunity to immerse your camper in the stunning beauty of God’s glorious nature. During this time, they will see, hear, feel, and taste the wonders of vibrant flowers and gardening in the great outdoors.
Your child will be in flower heaven for an entire week, joyfully wandering through the flourishing gardens, picking gorgeous, fragrant blossoms, and carefully placing them into a basket to create elaborate floral arrangements that reflect their creativity.
Our faith-based flower camp begins with kids joyfully sharing their favorite worship songs in a fun, karaoke style, along with meaningful scriptures from the Bible. We believe we worship God best when we truly love and appreciate the many gifts He has given us. The fragrance and beauty of His flowers bring immense joy and inspiration to our hearts!
In our wonderful design studio, campers will learn the secrets and techniques of floral arranging, crafting splendid bouquets, and experiencing the true joy of creating “something beautiful” with their own hands. Additionally, they will develop a green thumb as they cultivate rich loam soil, transplant vibrant flowers, and construct their very own flower box filled with life and color.
· Kids have daily “hands-on- experience” building a village of their own design, painting a gorgeous canvas and doing sweet miniature artificial floral arrangements.
· Campers bring their lunch bag for picnics by the pond, under the trees, on the porch or a choice of their favorite place on our 43 acres.
· They will laugh doing a collaborative adventure of putting together a 12’ long miniature garden for our pet hamster “George” and feeding him pancakes with whip cream.
· Kids practice “free flow design time” to release the joy and genius of their own creativity by making something beautiful of their own design. This increases their confidence and ability to “free flow” creatively.
· On the last day children chose what they will teach their parents and guests in the studio setting what they have learned about florals, gardens and collaboration. They love this part! The joy of presenting brings such an increase in their confidence and a pride in their work.
Parents will receive an email with permission slips to sign and all the information that is needed. Campers will sign a Camper Agreement regarding the rules for camp.
