Have you or your kids ever seen entertaining You Tube videos of “miniature cooking”? It’s the latest craze!
All summer long, “miniature cooking” videos were what the kids here at Flower Camps wanted to watch everyday at break time . Now at our studio they can actually bake real miniature food.
We are now the first in Solon Iowa to have our very own miniature cooking class. From baking itty-bitty pizzas with fresh tomato sauce, to being able to mix up tiny milkshakes in our new mini-blender, kids will experience one of their favorite things.
This class is an entrance to a world of possibilities and exciting new experiences! Meanwhile, you don’t have to clean up any mess. ;)
Sign Up: Here is what each child will do:
Work and eat in a “Farm House Style” miniature kitchen
Bake lots of tiny foods like cheese bread and strawberry cake
Learn to use miniature little wooden rolling pins and a tiny whisk
This miniature cooking class is REAL (the food and supplies),
Bake itty-bitty pizzas using a itty-bitty cheese grater
Mix up tiny milkshakes in our new mini-blender
Our class is an entrance to tiny tiny bread, cheese stick and scones.
Meanwhile, you don’t have to clean up any mess. ;)
Miniature cooking is perfect for children, because it gives them a new experience that had only existed on YouTube before. It’s a little tiny dream come true.
Children always love to bake or cook, but it can often be difficult for them to help when there are sharp knives and hot, scary ovens practically begging to be touched. Sometimes, even when the kids are trying their best to help, a bag of flour will end up all over the kitchen! But, what if it wasn’t a whole bag of flour on the floor, but only a tiny spoon of it?
Just imagine their big eyes lighting up with joy as you tell them they are signed up for class and get to do miniature cooking like on “YouTube”.
Please plan to pack your child a yummy snack and their favorite healthy lunch.
You will receive an email with permission slips to sign, safety plans and a list of what to bring. Please sign and send screenshots via email <info@somethingbeautiful.org>
Johnson County requires these permission slips to be signed for your child to be at the studio.
